Traveling Tips before You Leave
Although you can use your “Real ID” for travel in the continental U.S. and Hawaii, you will need more than you new drivers license for international travel. Check your passport expiration, as travel to some countries requires up to 6 months before your passport expires.
While it’s possible to expedite a passport renewal, there are no guarantees that you will get your passport renewed in the timeframe promised by the State Department.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of travel do you offer?
We specialize in cruises and tropical locations, but we can plan travel in Europe, Asia and anywhere in North America.
Can I fly without posessing the REAL ID?
Unless you can present a valid U.S. Passport or Passport Card, you as a U.S. citizen, will not be able to fly on commercial aircraft without a REAL ID. Because of the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001, congress passed the REAL ID act in 2005 to set new standards for driver’s licenses and identification cards in all 50 states. Even though all states were in compliance in 2020, official TSA enforcement is enforced by May 7, 2025. Chances are you already have the new driver’s license, as identified by a gold star at the top right, and having a hologram that makes counterfeiting extremely difficult. To travel internationally (outside the U.S.), you will need a valid Passport or Passport Card.
Do I need to pay for my trip in Advance?
Some vacation packages require payment in full at the time of booking. However, many of our packages allow you to make an initial deposit and final payment at a later date. Your travel advisor will have the details.
Do I need a passport to book a trip?
Technically no, not to book. However, a passport is required to travel outside the U.S. and must not expire before returning from your trip. While traveling, some countries may require that your passport not expire for up to 6 months after your trip is complete. In addition, it is very important that the information provided and used to book all reservations is the same information found on your passport. And obtaining the passport and ensuring legal compliance to obtain the passport is the traveler’s responsibility.
Do I need travel insurance?
No, but travel insurance is highly recommended. Unforeseen circumstances from your health, extreme weather changes or world events could affect your priceless travel experience. Your travel is an investment worth protecting.

Let us know if you love golf, nature hikes or other activities during your travel. Serious allergies or dietary restrictions are also very helpful information to share. That way, we’ll only show you options that fit your wants and needs. Booking extra’s and miscellaneous excursions as early as possible helps to avoid missing out on those activities.
Will I receive paper copies or digital copies of my travel documents?
Both. Paper copies are usually sent in the mail 30 days prior to your departure.
Can I make changes or even cancel my trip?
Once a trip is booked and a deposit has been received, changes will have a service fee. Trip cancellations also result in additional charges as required by airlines and resort suppliers. Trip insurance can sometimes defer some of these costs.
Why has my trip price changed from my initial contact up to the time I was ready to book it?
Sorry to hear that you may have missed out. Our promotions run for a limited time only, so we need to book early to avoid missing out. We have no control over airlines and resort suppliers.
